Near the Tsarevets hill is the Tsarevgrad Tarnov Multimedia Visitor Center, also known as the Museum of Wax Figures.\u00a0In it you can enjoy unique picturesque scenes from the life of the Bulgarians during the period of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom – from craftsmen and merchants to boyars, clergy and great rulers.<\/p>\n

In the museum of wax figures in the city of Veliko Tarnovo you can see 29 sculptural figures distributed on two floors, including the figures of the great Bulgarian rulers Tsar Kaloyan and Tsar Ivan Asen II.<\/p>\n

The multimedia visitor center “Tsarevgrad Tarnov” is a delight for the senses. It will transport you to distant times, when Tarnovgrad was at its peak of cultural, spiritual, military and historical development.<\/p>\n

The author of these breathtaking creations is the sculptor Boris Borisov, and his masterpiece is considered to be the scene recreated in the museum of the capture of the Latin Emperor Baldwin of Flanders by Tsar Kaloyan. The various scenes from everyday life during the Bulgarian Middle Ages transport you to the times of military glory and pride of the Bulgarian people.<\/p>\n

Apart from the incredible historical scenes presented at the Tsarevgrad Tarnov Multimedia Visitor Center, the overall experience for the visitors is complemented by the soundtrack with original music by the ethno-formation IRFAN.<\/p>\n
