About 15 km from the town of Veliko Tarnovo and 2 km from the village of Hotnitsa you can find the incredible natural phenomenon Kaya Bunar waterfall or also known as Hotnitsa waterfall, and to the left of it is a kilometer and a half long Hotnishka eco-trail. The place is suitable for picnics and games in nature.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Kaya Bunar is one of the most remarkable natural tourist sites in the area, which impresses with over 20 meters in height. Its waters, coming from the river Bohot, descend at a slight slope and despite its not so big, nature has created an illusion a very loud roar due to the refraction of the sound of falling water in the rocks.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Since 1971 the waterfall has been declared a protected area.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is made of transversely arranged wooden slats, which would be difficult for two people to cross each other. Going through it requires a lot of attention and caution. Part of the whole charm of the experience is the road to Kaya Bunar itself through the narrow and winding eco-trail.<\/span><\/p>\n
