If you are a fan of non-standard tourist routes, we definitely recommend you to visit the exact geographical center of Bulgaria in the area of Uzana. It is located about 20 km. from the town of Gabrovov, at the foot of Mount Ispolin, and is a high-altitude meadow, also known by the name of Inner Field.
In 1991, a sign in the shape of a pyramid and colored with the colors of the Bulgarian tricolor, marking the middle of the country’s territory, was placed on the territory of Uzana. The geographical center of Bulgaria is also included in the list of the Hundred National Tourist Sites of Bulgaria.

Going east along it, you will also reach Mount Haji Dimitar, also known as Mount Buzludzha. To the west it leads to Mazalat hut and the Triglav massif.
